Initial Fertility Assessment

Sperm Collection & Fertilization

A sperm sample — either from the partner or a donor — is prepared for fertilization. IMI specialists inject a single healthy sperm into each mature egg. The resulting embryos are then cultured for 5–6 days in our advanced lab until they reach the blastocyst stage.

Ovarian Stimulation & Monitoring

The ovarian stimulation phase involves daily hormonal injections carefully monitored through ultrasounds and blood tests, allowing IMI specialists to track follicle growth and adjust medications as needed to achieve optimal egg development.

Embryo Selection & Gender Testing

The highest-quality embryos are carefully selected for transfer, with optional PGT-A genetic testing available to screen for chromosomal abnormalities and enhance the chances of a healthy pregnancy.

Trigger Shot & Egg Retrieval

When the follicles are ready, a trigger injection is administered to mature the eggs, followed about 36 hours later by a gentle egg retrieval procedure — performed under mild sedation to ensure comfort and precision.

Embryo Selection

A single high-quality embryo is transferred using ultrasound guidance — a quick, painless procedure that requires no anesthesia. Any remaining viable embryos are safely frozen for future cycles.
